Throwing down some wheelies in Brasil was always a dream of me. Probably many of you don’t know but stuntriding was not born in USA, it was born and perfected by the man with the name A.C. Farias on the streets of Brasil back in 1989.
This year KTM asked me if I would like to go to Sao Paolo to make a new freeriding YT movie with my freestyle 200 Duke and some demos at the international motorcycle expo in Sao Paolo. I didn’t hesitate to much and gave them a green light to start to plan the trip.

So few weeks ago the trip was finally prepared, my bike was already on the way to Brasil and we could book our plane tickets. The Brasil adventure could finally start.

Just before I went to the airport the team reported that my bike was stuck in Brasilian customs so in the last moment we packed my travel kit to transform a local 200 Duke into a freestyle toy. Always like to ride my own bike but it’s good to have a plan B and to be flexible. So straight from the airport in Sao Paolo we rushed to the workshop to prepare the bike for the upcoming freestyle adventure 😀

On the next day the jet lag was away and we were ready with my film crew to attack the streets of Sao Paolo. In the end it turned out that the police in Sao Paolo was no joke and that they were really strict, so popping wheelies was a real challange also on the parking lots. I was feeling like I have been returned 8 years back when I needed to “fight” with the local police to give me a chance to practice on the parking lots.

In the morning we meet up with the local Biker club and they joined me on my trip trough Sao Paolo down town.

The practice with the trial bike back home really paid of and I was more comfortable on my freeriding and hitting some bigger obstacles like this really steep stairs. The picture does not make any justice to the reallity. I have been hitting some other things but for those you will need to wait for the upcoming video in 3 weeks 🙂

After the whole day of freeriding I gave a small demo show to the bikers club that joined me on this adventure. And in the end I was more then happy to see big smiles on their faces 😀

After two days of filming on the streets it was time to Rock at the the international moto expo ” Salao duas Rodas” … My body was a bit sore from the previous days but after the first show everything went away.

Interviews got in the past 5 years my dally routine and I am happy that it is like that 🙂 On the pic bellow I have a interesting chat with the guys from Discovery chanel Brasil 😀
